The Stanford summer day camps run throughout June, July, and the beginning of August. At the day camps we will accommodate campers with a wide variety of ages and skills. The coaching staff will strive to educate and challenge the campers at a level on par with their experience. All experience levels welcome and we welcome those who have never rowed before. Our camp will teach each camper all of the basics of rowing. All of the day camps will occur exclusively at the Stanford Rowing and Sailing Center at 300 Cardinal Way, Redwood City, CA.

Stanford Day Camps are open to any all participants ages 11-18.

These day camps DO NOT take place on Stanford's Campus. Day camps will run from 9am - 4pm each day with registration opening at 8:45am on the Monday camp begins. Camp will begin at 9am each day thereafter.

Please note: rowing on the water is subject to level of skill and conditions. The first day of camp may include learning and rowing on the dock and from outside the shell without launching. This sets up the skills required for the rest of the week.

We will NOT be administering a swim test. However, rowing is obviously a water sport so it is important that your camper be comfortable around the water. Rowing shells rarely, if ever, tip over, but it IS a possibility.

When registering for a camp, accurate emails will be the main method in which the camp communicates with campers.
